The Many Faces of Oscar® Nominee Favorite Actor Christoph Waltz: Then & Now

Earlier this month we reported Austrian actor Christoph Waltz who won Best Actor at the Cannes Film Festival for brilliantly playing Nazi Colonel Hans Landa aka "the Jew Hunter" in Inglourious Basterds has been cast as the main villain Chudnofsky in Sony Pictures' The Green Hornet.

Since Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds came out Waltz has been offered a lot of big movies by a lot of big directors. And he's getting big bucks now. How great this well-known (in Europe) award-winning stage veteran and TV actor has found success on this side of the pond at age 53.

We thought it fitting at this time to take a look at the many faces of Oscar® nominee favorite Christoph Waltz in his 20s, 30s, 40s and 50s. At 53 Waltz is hotter than ever! He even sings!!!

Watch the clips from the British mini-series "The Gravy Train Goes East" (1991), the sequel to "The Gravy Train", 1990 (below). Christoph plays Dr. Hans-Joachim Dorfmann aka "Bloody Dorfmann" aka "Prince Charming", a very earnest, idealistic and naive German who is constantly bumping into the furniture. At the beginning of the first series he goes to Brussels in order to work for the European Community. The newcomer is courted by a number of prominent bureaucrats and entrepreneurs and seduced by various women who all try to use him for their own purposes.

This is a little clip (below) from the two-part film "Catherine the Great" (1995). Christoph plays a Russian officer of the 18th century.
