photo: APOscar-winner Cate Blanchett finally received a star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame. The ravishing star of "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" received the 2,376th star.
Steven Spielberg, who directed Blanchett in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull introduced Blanchett.
Also on hand were 'Button' Director David Fincher, producer Kathleen Kennedy and her husband Andrew Upton.
Blanchett and Hollywood A-lister Brad Pitt star together in a new film "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button", directed by Fincher.
Based on a short story by American literary great F. Scott Fitzgerald the film tells the story of a man who ages backwards to actually become younger after being born 80 at the end of World War One. 'Button' opens Dec 25th.

Mortenson: I may appear in 'Hobbit'
Viggo Mortenson has not ruled out the possibility of appearing in
The Hobbit. The actor, who played Aragorn in the Lord Of The Rings trilogy, revealed that he will not be in the first of Guillermo del Toro's two movies based on the book, but there is a chance he will be in the second.
"People ask me about it a lot, and I say, obviously, 'Nobody's come to me'. But I won't be surprised if they do, if I'm right for it in their eyes," he told Ain't It Cool News.
"Obviously, as an actor who originated on film that role, I'd rather finish the job than see another actor do it."
Mortenson suggested that Guillermo del Toro could choose to shoot flashback scenes or dream sequences involving the character, adding that he would be interested in appearing in such a scenario.
