Michael Moore's latest film Capitalism: A Love Story will headline the 34th Toronto International Film Festival which marks the 20th anniversary of his debut film "Roger and Me," which won the film festival's People's Choice award in 1989. Back then, Moore targeted General Motors. In his latest project, he takes aim at the whole system.Synopsis
The documentary will explore the root causes of the global economic meltdown and take a comical look at the corporate and political shenanigans that culminated in what Moore has described as "the biggest robbery in the history of this country" – the massive transfer of US taxpayer money to private financial institutions.
